    bemore: Operation Christmas Child is where you pack a shoe box with things such as school supplies, toys, and hygiene products for boy or girl in a certain age category.  I’ve done it for the past few years and it’s always a joy.  It doesn’t have to be anything fancy so it doesn’t cost too much to do.  These shoe boxes are then shipped to children around the world.  You can include a letter as well and your address if you want.  Last year I actually got a thank you letter from the boy mine was sent to in Africa.  Click the picture for more information such as where to ship or drop off your shoe box.  National collection week is November 16-23.
